Latest high gray and refresh LED Display
With the continuous development of LED industry and advancing technology. High-Definition period for full-color LED display is coming. Chip's advanced technology and control system features contributed most to this. For full-color LED display, high refresh frequency and dot to dot calibration would be the leading trend and this is a qualitative leap on development. First, let's see the difference between normal and high refresh frequency.

High refresh frequency: The higher scan frequency is, the less flicker of the effect and image is more clear. Normal refresh frequency: Resulted of low refresh frequency, LED scan display couldn't be used for Live Transfer except as static display, leading to much cost waste.

Regarding some special circumstance, we are not in much need of high brightness, but the LED Display must measure up to requirements of broadcast live or taking video.
MBI5042 series chip is the good choice under 1/8 scan control mode. These Chips can increase frequency up to 1200Hz, while common video camera with frequency of 1000Hz can not catch any scan strips 128*128. if it is static LED Display, it is either impossible to catch strips under frequency of 2500Hz.

Advantages of MBI5042 driving IC:

Dot to dot calibration function
Brightness calibration of single pixel for 128*128 pixels and support chromaticity calibration of 128*128 pixels. It needs relevant equipment to support collecting data. Our company has normal camera solution of LED display with “dot-to-dot calibration” ability, which is the must performance of LED display products as the quickly development this years.
Dot-to-dot calibration function can adjust the color temperature and brightness of LEDs which are produced at different period and different quality. It can also adjust the color temperature and brightness of LED display which has been working for some time. It will be as a new one after adjustment, and moreover, it can improve the display effect of the old LED display and achieve the requirement of uniform display effect. In another word, the old LED display can achieve the uniform display effect also!
